Description
Thanks for letter of 18th received last night; with regard to option on Lad's Love and Rose of the Wilderness thinks with Watt that on terms proposed should do well to agree, seems only fair under circumstances; quite agrees some defining word to prefix Cinderella necessary, thinks either A Scottish Cinderella or A Lowland Cinderella would be quite good; will be very glad to help Mr Morgan in any way by advising about places in Galloway to go to for suitable scenery for Lilac Sunbonnet; very glad indeed he proposes to produce it so carefully and also that Miss Morgan to take principal lady's part as so much will depend upon that being delicately and sympathetically done; makes great difference to have someone really enthusiastic about Crockett's work willing to produce them; sure there is public ready for them in Scotland at any rate
