Delighted to get letter of 11th inst; exceedingly sorry not to be able to get up during sojourn in Galloway but could not think of landing whole pack of children knowing also it was busy month; however is collecting Galloway papers into volume which will entail several journeys to South during this year and next; may be sure will not pass the Glen; indeed looks forward with great hope to seeing before very long; with kind and affectionate regards to both; postscript: no 'teuch' have for above
