Description

Gladly accepts; would like to do rattling adventure and generally rousing tale for Illustrated; pretty pressed but others are magazine people (Windsor etc) so perhaps could arrange to do Shorter's first; glad Shorter likes Red Axe; had many letters especially from America where generally prefer love stories; sixty thousand words little short for book form but can give little rope and be easy in word counting; too little for six shilling book and finds can sell as many at that price as lower; not been in town long time; taken to Earth-wandering of late with last being Spain and North Africa
