Description

Thanks for letter of 11th telling of Messrs. Dent's intention to reduce price of books in their Wayfarers Library; thinks they right and probably will sell more copies at 1/6d and in any case supposes all must agree to change; so glad to find Watt really liked Rogue's Island; always thought Mr Crockett specially happy in writing about boys, he loved doing it and had very tender place in heart for his own Cleg Kelly; of boys who lived on Island two are gone: husband and Andrew Penman; W.S. McGeorge the artist still living and still paints exquisite pictures of his own beloved Galloway
