Thanks for McClure's letter of 10th confirming terms as detailed in Watt's of 3rd on which McClure purchases American serial rights and US book rights of Mr Crockett's new short stories; kindly note stories are not series or serial and quite likely will not all be published on consecutive weeks in The British Weekly; has asked Editor of British Weekly to print usual American copyright notice indeed made it condition of agreement between him and Mr Crockett but cannot of course accept any responsibility should editor on any particular occasion leave it out
